About Us

We're Tamina and Raul Almeida, the hearts behind Soul Healing Vibes and The Almeida Tribe. 
Our story began during mid-COVID, when the world stood still and fear filled the air. We had just brought our dream home near the island, our forever home, and were both working our asses off to make it happen. 

With one car, I would drop Raul at work at 3 a.m. or 11 p.m, depending on his shifts, then keep going, hustling part-time, balancing babies, holding it all together. 

Then everything stopped. 

Raul had a serious fishing accident, and overnight, our world flipped. He couldn't work, I was pregnant, and the world outside was tightening with COVID restrictions that threw a spanner in the works. 

Our income, our safety and everything we thought was secure disappeared in an instant. The illusion of stability shattered, and we realised the system we trusted wasn't built for freedom, it was built for survival. 

When the restrictions lifted, I continued working part-time in the NDIS industry, building a small traditional business to keep us afloat. But the more I worked within the system, the more I saw its gaps. I wanted to help everyone, not just NDIS Clients.

The vision became the seed of something greater. 

We made a promise to stop waiting for safety and start creating it. 

We were terrified, but we chose intuition over fear, trusting that inner voice that whispered, "There's more for us that this" 

That choice, made in the middle of the choas, changed everything. 

Breathwork became our medicine.

It helped Raul heal emotionally and helped me release the trauma and pressure I had carried for years as a mother, partner and provider. 

We have walked through the fires that could have destroyed us, but instead they forged us. 

From those ashes, Soul Healing Vibes was born, a movement for those ready to rise into the new era of living: sovereign, free and fully alive.
